31 is far too young to die! I've loved his pictures for years, mostly for all great colors, and I never knew who drew them until now.

In my opinion, he's one of the few American artists of the 80's who seemed to embody the joy of making images. His energy was/is inspiring.
So glad you made a creative discovery.
