The irony is running thick. His desire for government transparency is in direct inverse proportion to how much he'll find in one of these asylum pits.

Yep. With good health, he'll have 50 years or so to reflect on the consequences of his actions. It's quite possible he had honorable motives, yet had no concept of what constituted honorable conduct . It speaks volumes about American society that a 27 year-old was so poorly prepared to be a man.
