I really, really, really hate State Farm.
Car repair shops vs. large insurance companies have their own special "dance".
Shops inflate the cost because they know insurers companies will negotiate them down.
Then the vehicle owner gets stuck with either used parts, or aftermarket parts that ate of lesser quality than the OEM parts.
I'm just waiting for a bunch of body shop owners in my area to refuse to do business with State Farm or Progressive.

Dr Bob, insurance companies have the friendliest and most helpful people in the world.
Until you file a claim.
