And thusly, Democratus Chaoticus Donothingus claimed credit for the invention of linear time, & after being expelled from Heaven--which won him the Nobel Peace Prize--was elevated to secular sainthood.
He was subsequently doomed to traverse the plane between Heaven & Hell, where he misinterprets Romans Chapter 13, torments peaceable individuals who wish only to live free, trades politicians their souls for political power, & trains demagogues to undo republics.
