I really like this one too...it's the curves & shapes that I dig most. A friend of mine has a small statue (one of those little 60s white dobby porcelain things) in a similar pose.
It's interesting how that--in spite of the similarities--they're strikingly different.

When I do figure work, It starts out as a combination of photos and sketches. In the end, with all the minor changes I make, I'm afraid the "model" doesn't exist.....except in the painting, she does.

One more thing John. You caption the work as in this case INTUITION, but the jpgs often have another name. This one is "autumn"!
So which is it?
