GarandFan:

Alexander, now talk about a youthful overachiever! I think his Mom had a lot to do with it.

Jonathan Hohensee:

It's kind of humbling to think that when Alexander was taking over the world he was the same age as my roommate who spent last Saturday night smashing beer bottles with a golf club.

GarandFan:

Golf has really screwed up our civilization. Wacking around a little white ball that never did you a bit of harm. Now wacking someone over the head with a broad sword...there's some satisfaction! :o)

Terwiliger:

Yeah...that's it. Golf is the problem with civilization. Those megalomaniacal tyrants had nothing to do with it.

“As for the pyramids, there is nothing to wonder at in them so much as the fact that so many men could be found degraded enough to spend their lives constructing a tomb for some ambitious booby, whom it would have been wiser and manlier to have drowned in the Nile, and then given his body to the dogs.” – Henry David Thoreau
