It's kind of humbling to think that when Alexander was taking over the world he was the same age as my roommate who spent last Saturday night smashing beer bottles with a golf club.

Golf has really screwed up our civilization. Wacking around a little white ball that never did you a bit of harm. Now wacking someone over the head with a broad sword...there's some satisfaction! :o)

Yeah...that's it. Golf is the problem with civilization. Those megalomaniacal tyrants had nothing to do with it.
