Had the same problem the other day. Went to check out, absent-minded, not paying attention. Swiped my ATM card 3 different times and the machine did nothing but BEEP at me. The clerk tells me "Strip down!". I figure it's some new Homeland Security thing. So I start to take my clothes off. Then the clerk yells "No, magnetic strip on your card FACE DOWN!"
I'm not allowed in Home Depot anymore. :(
