The rectangular lens threw me at first. Cool use of perspective & "implied series"--makes me wonder who is looking at what.

I enjoy working out design ideas. This one didn't have any ACTUAL illustration work but it did involve quite a bit of visual problem solving.
Once I started with a photo I took from way back, I kind of let my imagination drive the final result. Very intuitive, this one.

A problem with a "search for authenticity" is that if you find it you probably won't like it.
And...
the older I get, the more I realize that I'm normal and everything around me is getting less normal, and that normal is greatly overrated!
