GarandFan:

Vinnie was a 'mover' in Mobland. You wanted something moved, you talked to Vinnie. You tried to move anything without talking to Vinnie; Vinnie would talk to you. You wouldn't like what Vinnie had to say. And if you were really really lucky, Vinnie's talk would be brief and there would be an emergency room nearby.

John Cox:

HEY G

Neat start. I like the idea that Vinnie is actually a furniture mover who's looking to protect is turf.

"Hey, whatch ya got deh?"
"Oh, just moving my cradenza to a crosstown storage facility."
"Well, uh, dat's what I do aroun' her. If youse are lookin' to move tings, youse talk to me foist. I can't be havin' just any mook takin' up my particuleh area of expoitise, youse know what I'm sayin'?"

Dr. Bob:

Mobland = Washington DC

Terwiliger:

DR. BOB:

I tink Barry oughts t' adop' Minnesota Fats' (da reel wun's) old catchphrase:

"I makes a lotta noise an' den I robs ya."

Den's he could go by d' name Chicago Slim.

Zeroth:

Ooo, can't wait til Vinnie The Mover meets Dr. Bob The Builder. I'm sure there's a Shaker union, too, so we'll have the Movers vs. the Shakers to look forward to, too.

Did I say union? I meant mob. Lots of mobs in Mobland.

Dr. Bob:

"Did I say union? I meant mob. Lots of mobs in Mobland."

You mean there's a difference?

This really answered my problem, thank you!
