and now a word from John Lennon...

If you or that special someone would like to be featured in "And Now A Word From...", just make contact at my e-mail address (john555cox@hotmail.com) and we can make arrangements for a caricature with HIS OR HER OWN ORIGINAL QUOTE. For $75 (single images, please), you'll receive the original art and make an appearance right here on "And Now A Word From..." This is a fun opportunity to immortalize your words of wisdom, encouragement, inspiration or that weird little thing you say when things are rockin'.

Neat, huh?

That is neat! I'm going to have to come up with a good quote or catchphrase and save up.

But I'm scared to see myself caricatured. Apparently, Zeroth is vain, prefers to willfully ignore his exaggerated features, and uses the third person to distance himself from his feelings.

Thanks for doing neat stuff like this. One of these days I'll surprise you, John. What a great day it will be.

John Cox:

Thanks for the kind word. I like to think I'm available to do fun stuff for all my visitors, especially the commenters like you that keep this site worth visiting.

What a cool idea!

Unfortunately, I have a face for radio--& I don't think I've ever come up with anything on my own that was clever enough, original enough, and both CONCISE enough AND good enough.

I do have a few really funny or incisive quips from people I know/knew (most of whom have gone on) that I would like to see memorialized, though. I'll have to dig around & see if I can find some appropriate pictures of them.

Aw, shucks, John. *kicks the ground* Thanks!

"Concise" in caps made me smile, T, but I have faith in you. And gosh darn it, people like you! :-)

I thought I'd pop in & check things out before logging off for the day. I'm glad I spread a little cheer.

However, I was feeling a little bit less disgusted as I've been able to disconnect from Democrat stupidity for a day or two...

...& then you have to make a reference reminding me that Stuart Smalley (which I'll admit was a hilarious skit) is a not-so-duly-elected Senator...

...& for whatever reason, I suddenly realized "our" president is just about the spiritual equivalent of Professor Shabazz K. Morton.
