My three favorite Steely Dan songs: "My Old School", "Deacon Blues", and "Kid Charlemagne". My favorite album is "Aja". Steely Dan and Elvis Costello are two performers who kept me going through the '70's.

"Black Cow" is far & above my favorite. IMO, any of 9 tracks on Best of... could (& 1 of them should) have been dropped for it.
I don't pay much attention to rock/pop lyrics, but I love the changes in--& the progression of--that tune.
One great thing about Steely Dan; they hated hippies.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
