DAN BARBER
12" x 9"
watercolor
I worked on this all day Saturday. I spent most of my effort on nailing an accurate pencil drawing, then I use many thin layers of watercolor for texture and warmth. I like to go back with pencil to bring it together and add touches of detail.

I like the way the different effects work together. It looks like you know what you're doing. ( :
Dan kind of favors Chipper Jones.

HEY G
When I do commissioned portraiture, I'm very sensitive to not only being accurate but portraying the person at his/her best.
I don't charge very much for them (I'm aware that it might be considered a luxury) yet I still enjoy doing them for their own artistic challenges.
All I need is some decent photos...

Very nice work, John.
Now, I haven't a clue who Dan Barber is, but I know what he looks like.

John my friend,
You knocked the back out of it with this one. Extremely nice. You get an extra bowl of ice cream.
Cool Runnings.
