I never read the book, but this is a very interesting counterpoint to the original cover.
The original gives me a feeling similar to looking through a telescope--"How vast it all is!" Your cover gives me a feeling more akin to looking into a microscope.
Yours is more personalizing. Not so "Dust in the Wind." I like it.
