Magazine Cover Illustration Idea

Thunderbottom:

I remember "Omni" Magazine from the '70's - it was a project from "Penthouse" publisher Bob Guccione who, I guess, was trying for more serious cred. Problem was that it published a lot of articles from the "tinfoil hat" crowd (the moon landings were faked/the gov't is hiding the truth about UFOs/etc.). Is that mag still being published? Nice illustration idea, by the way.

GarandFan:

Terwiliger:

According to Wikipedia, OMNI ceased pub in 1995, went web, ceased in 1998. I only looked at it for the pictures (HA! I only remember seeing covers of issues on gubmint skrool teachers' desks--never looked at one beyond that).

LewRockwell.com featured a "the moon landings were faked" column 6 days ago (copy & paste):

Ron Paul was robbed of the GOP nomination, I tell you. Robbed!

Anybody remember that--back in 2009 (May 21)--one POTUS Barack Obama put himself out there as one of those "the gov't is hiding the truth about UFOs" moonbats & pledged "transparency" by releasing classified documents pertaining to UFOs?

In the same speech he also said, "... whenever we cannot release certain information to the public for valid national security reasons, I will insist that there is oversight of my actions--by Congress or by the courts."

He closed with, "I will never hide the truth because it’s uncomfortable. I will deal with Congress and the courts as co-equal branches of government. I will tell the American people what I know and don’t know, and when I release something publicly or keep something secret, I will tell you why." (Seriously. He actually said those very words.)

Transcripts? Then why not? Oversight? Please! SCOTUS? A group of unelected people... They sided with me? Never mind! Fast & Furious? FIFTH!!!

Where's the media scrutiny--if not over his failure to meet the transparency standard, over the moonbat position?

SQUIRREL! Romney's out of touch.
