Terwiliger:

"If the river isn't rising, then what is this warm, gooey, brown stuff we're knee-deep in?"

John Cox:

"Tell me more about the Margarita Fountain of Everlasting Entitlements."

kalashnikat:

I'm a fanciful creature born of the imaginings of children...What's your excuse?

Craniac:

"If the river isn't rising, then what is this warm, gooey, brown stuff we're knee-deep in?"

That is the effluent of a well known creek and I don't see a paddle.

Terwiliger:

"I - topia? Dude... Really?"

Last one--a "tribute" to Jon Stewart & his "readin'" schlock on Herman Cain:

"Jeeves! The boss don't be drinkin' no Kool-Aid! He be snortin' it straight out the packet!"

CRANIAC:

That's exactly what I was going for. It's also an allusion to the "Imagination"/"Gloop" scene in Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The unicorn is essentially observing, "If this isn't chocolate..." Obviously, "knee-deep" was used to imply an additional element that wasn't illustrated.

JOHN:

Good one. There are so many potential cross-references with fantasy themes in stories, books, songs, & movies, I couldn't hit them all with one comment (well, maybe I could... but we all know how that would turn out). After I finally quit laughing, I had to pick an angle (or three) & run with it (or them).

John Cox:

HEY T
Brevity is a good thing.

Anonymous:

"No more psychedelic boat rides. No more psychedelic boat rides. No more psychedelic boat rides. PLEASE!!!"

Rick James:

"Cocaine's a hell of a drug."

Thunderbottom:

"You say that the Kool-aid is a 'special recipe' from a Reverend Jim Jones? Heard that name before. Didn't he run a collective in someplace - Guyana?"

GarandFan:

"And if Stevie Chu can float me a loan of $100 Billion, I guarantee that my 'Carbon-free Unicorn Fart Factory" will produce 100 gazillion megawatts of power each year. There will also be a lot of employment opportunities in feeding and 'cleaning up' after the energy producers."
