Haiku What?

Meandering stones
Demarcating yours and mine
Grounded, so grounded.

This is my entry for this week's theme over at Illustration Friday: GROUNDED.

Terwiliger:

(I'm here at the wall
What happened to the big oak
where the black rock is?)

Ed B:

You there and me here.
Not quite like Hadrian's wall.
Still, a barrier.

Dr. Bob:

Our walls keep in, out
Feelings, warmth, affection, love
Loneliness ensured.

Lesson of Shawshank:
Often, walls can hold you in
Sometimes, set you free

Doc Al:

Walls in wrong places
Strangers behind friends' faces
No home - just bases

John Cox:

Hey Doc
Lovely and kinda sad.

Cowboy:

Stones of the earth lain
Segregating our lives, friends
Cold rock separates

Doc Al:

John -
Some days are like that.

Doc Al:

Here's the alternate happy-sappy version:

Shiny happy walls!
Bliss is raining from the skies!
Soft and cuddly stones!

John Cox:

HEY DOC
Yeeesh. Has a valium/scotch vibe. What, no unicorns?

T:

"Unwashed masses are
just like us," rich Dems say...BUT...
N I M B Y

John Cox:

HEY T
neat.

Doc Al:

Scotch - yes.
Valium - no.
Unicorns - maybe.

Doc Al:

Unicorns romping
Jumping, smiling, playing -OUCH!
Didn't see that wall
