What If....

LYCEUM by John Cox
oil on canvas

This is what it might look like if you enlarged one of my "crumbling wall" pieces and stuck it in a nice gallery.

Somebody should do that, John, it's really a great idea.

GarandFan:

Cool!

Cowboy:

I need to get a bigger wall.

PeggyU:

I really kinda like that! For some reason, though, I fancy it as a mosaic ala ancient Rome.

Steve M:

It does have that mosaic feel! I could see it done in tiny tiles in the ruins of Pompei.

I would definitely visit this gallery-once I got past the crappy Abstracts in the first room.

GarandFan:

"the crappy Abstracts"

Oh! I thought that was graffiti in the entryway!

Cowboy:

I thought they were "painted" by one of those guys (note I didn't say artists) throwing paint balls.

Terwiliger:

Jackson Pollock?

Spelling "error" intentional

ymc:

That would be one of the most beautiful paintings in the world. Please do it!
