Hey Ed
Nice Magritte reference.
Hey G
You hit upon it. I think it's ironic our digital presence is all that's necessary to engage the world.
Hey Doc
Pun away!

Do you really think all this digital stuff is engaging? While I like the information access (there are some great repositories if you know where to look), the connectivity seems illusory--it's only 2D--figuratively & literally.

It appears to me that John substituted a different apple a`la Magritte - from green apple to an Apple iPhone.

Hey Dr Bob
DING DING DIIINNG. We have an astute viewer. That was the art reference I was actually making.
I like putting work like this out without having to state subtleties. I like implying a subtext and let sharpies out there make the connection.
Granted, I fail sometimes, and cleverness gets lost due to a certain artistic hubris on my part. That's my daily challenge: doing accessible work without relying on tired, easy-to-get cliches. That's the work I'm shooting for.
