Roxanne was my first exposure to Cyrano, so it's neat to see the parallels to the one you link, G.

Ah, with a schnozz like that, you'd need a shovel to pick it.
And if I remember correctly, Cyr had a total disdain for Balzac.

Thanks for the good word. Pastel on cold press illustration board is very forgiving. It's almost as if erasures and modifications thicken the piece.
