Haven't had mutton in years, but this area is abysmal in terms of grocery selection (just about everything else, for that matter). One little obscure "hip" restaurant has lamb on the menu as a "perpetual" item, but they never have it. Go in for lamb, & they pitch some kind of cheap "gourmet" alternative (sweetbreads, squid, "langostino," fungi, etc.)... at the same price as the lamb, of course. They're danged good at what they do, but stupid expensive.
