GarandFan:

Something the left should have scratched into their foreheads with a ballpoint pen!

Terwiliger:

Ditto... but how about "carved... KA-BAR"?

John Cox:

Hey G&T
The vulgar irony of your comments is odd.

Zeroth:

Odd like a fox! I don't even know what I mean by that. :-) But to contradict the pacifist King, Jr., I say we uplift humanity with as little pain as possible.

btw, the last thread was a beauty. Nice one, G!

T:

Just trying to be brief & roll with what was already here. How about this? (Quote I couldn't find yesterday)

"Each year on Martin Luther King Day, let us not only recall Dr. King, but rededicate ourselves to the Commandments he believed in and sought to live every day: Thou shall love thy God with all thy heart, and thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. And I just have to believe that all of us -- if all of us, young and old, Republicans and Democrats, do all we can to live up to those Commandments, then we will see the day when Dr. King's dream comes true." - Ronald Reagan

Dr. Bob:

Re: vulgar irony...

been too sick lately to issue a drug induced smackdown.

This is not to undermine what MLK intended or his ideals.

But if MLK were here today, I think he'd have huge problems with some of the people of his own race and the Democratic plantation on which on they reside.

John Cox:

HEY G
I get it. I just thought the quote was just a pure expression of being.
