Doc Al is the proprietor of my favorite bar, Trackside Tavern, here in Decatur. A portion of the wall space at Trackside will be dedicated to caricatures of the bar staff and any other regulars who want to be on the wall.
(The glasses are a new "look" since the photograph was taken.)
If you'd like to commission a caricature of yourself or someone special, just e-mail me at john555cox@hotmail.com and we can discuss the details. 8x10 color caricatures go for $150 and ususally takes 2-3 days. All you need is a great photo and I can take from there!

Cool caricature. One thing that intrigues me about artists is the multitude of ways that different features can be exaggerated (& how much that interpretation can be altered by familiarity of--& feelings about--their subjects).
The face on the left looks like a plain old snapshot. The face on the right looks full of mischief & humor (probably a little on the wry side).
I'd also bet that the caricature is influenced by knowing the subject in 3-D. I wouldn't have noticed the rounded cheeks without the caricature.

HEY T
You're right...I've known Doc for a few years and I can insert some of his personality into the look. And I've drawn him before; he's a familiar subject.
