Have you ever seen an old interview with her?
I totally agree with Ayn Rand's, philosophy. But, based on several old interviews I've seen with her from the 60's, she was extremely dry, completely humorless, and plain. She came across as an extremely dry intellectual, boring, chain smoker. I think it had something to do with her Russian upbringing.
(Note: that's where she learned to hate collectivism).
But her books! That's where it comes out.
