I don't buy into the quote... I think "avoiding death" may actually be the leading cause of statistics.

Manufactured so-called "news" and demagogic infantile politics are the two leading causes of statistics in the public realm. In the private realm, they're caused by just about everything (usually people trying to find a reason to justify something that logic would otherwise negate, although they are extremely useful in my field, which I won't bore you with).
Smoking is simply a topic of opportunity--& it's a vice, not a crime (although smoke--whether from tobacco, wood, or my hillbilly neighbors trying to burn wet brush piles--is a particularly bothersome irritant to me).
I would like very much for someone to find a way for smokers to exhale whatever they want without me inhaling it--& without the cessation of my breathing.

It always amazes me, the length do-gooders go to castigate smokers. Given all the TAX money the government gets from these people, how do they intend on REPLACING that tax money were all the smokers to suddenly quit?
Would we suddenly see government paid ads that "It's patriotic to smoke!"

But seriously folks... we can just sell another chunk of our butts (both our posteriors & our tobacco) to the Chinese (we can make up the some of the difference on the income tax until China sues "Big Tobacco", probably represented by John Edwards, Alan Dershowitz, & the USSPLC).
I really hate to bring this up (wink-wink, nudge-nudge), but does anybody remember back when (as reported by Bill Gertz, wickedly good defense writer for the Washington Times, one of maybe 3 newspapers that's still worth a d@#%) our #1 foreign creditor threatened--TWICE--to nuke California? I think it was during the Clinton administration...

While i initially said I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added - checkbox now each time a comment is added I receive four e-mails with the similar comment. Can there be any way it is possible to clear away me from that services? Thanks!
