GarandFan:

Beginnin' to get a little worried about you. Figured it was either a big paying gig or that you'd lost your muse. Glad you're back!

Cowboy:

Me too! I thought you were either crashing on something big or tak'n some time. Either way YOU win! We're you fans no matter what. Welcome back! Personally, I needed to get that clown out of my system for awhile...

HEY FELLAS

Just had to get my freak on in a very worthy American city filled with fascinating history and shetland ponies sitting at bars ordering Ambita Ambers all night.

GarandFan:

So, it was the booze! :o)

Militant Bibliophile:

Welcome back! Good to see the site updating again AND to hear you had a good time.

You are such a mess!

I was going to e-mail you today if your site hadn't changed, I was getting worried. Hope you had fun on your trip.

Hugs from Jerusalem
Yo

John,

Is it a cigar band on the head? When do you think we could celebrate with a "Ya No Mas" Cuban cigar?

Cinnamon:

Johnny-you left your sketchbook here-the one with the "special" drawings.

Kisses,
Cinnamon

GarandFan:

Oh, now the story is coming out!

HEY CINNAMON

Shhhhhhhhhh....what happens in Nawlins STAYS in Nawlins.

Terwiliger:

HEY JOHN

Belated WELCOME BACK!!!

I need a distraction from all of this Obamania. He's gunning hard to swing my state out of the red column. There's no escaping "the message." Obama ads are everywhere, & this huge army of lethargic progressives has decended upon us. They all look & sound like they just got out of bed after the mother-of-all-benders. They look like they slept in their clothes, & they look they didn't even comb their hair. They're going from door to door to spread the "good news" about the coming of Barry. He is the great "The Change."

They have managed to swing me out of the "No Confidence" column into the "McCain" column for good. You guys know that I don't like McCain--but Obama is too much of a threat to America on too many fronts to not vote against him.

I'm now hoping for a "Dewey/Truman"-style upset (it's closer than the pollsters are letting on).

ML

That's a cigar band. PAREJO. I don't smoke (although I used to occasionally hold a tiparillo in my teeth while fishing or golfing to keep the 'skeeters away), but I've heard they're primo--as close to Cuban as is legally available in the U.S..

Cowboy:

Hi Cinnamon:

I assume you'll comment further on future cartoons, artwork and such...hmmmmmm?

Welcome...and...

What's the dirty on JOHN?

HEY COWBOY

How rude! You know ladies (?) don't tell.

GarandFan:

"You know ladies (?) don't tell."

Not the ones Cowboy and I hang out with! :o)

Rutager:

Where, pray tell, did you find "ladies" who "don't tell"?

The ones I know tell everything they know (& some things they don't).
