GarandFan:

THAT is not an illustration. THAT is my worst nightmare!

Terwiliger:

I don't think I've ever heard him make a concrete statement that indicates any real commitment to anything (other than getting elected, that is).

I quit listening to him a while back--he was giving a speech that included (to the effect of...& these are very close to his actual statements): (1) "We have to avoid the politics of division & personal destruction!!!"; & 5 minutes later (2) "It's us against them!!!"

STOP UNIVERSAL SUFFRAGE NOW!!! THE SUFFRAGE THAT GOES ON IN THIS COUNTRY IS AN ABOMINATION!!! THE SUFFRAGE MUST END!!!

Terwiliger:

...AND by that, I mean there is no universal right to vote. I am not suggesting that any particular GROUP of people should be barred from voting. I AM suggesting barring INDIVIDUALS from voting based on a predetermined level of general competency.

Tom Wms:

I know this is a little trite, but they all look alike!

Terwiliger:

HEY TOM

That's just wrong...

BUT...

That's funny right there...I don't care who you are.

Tom Wms.:

Terwiliger:
Thanks for the kind words. Maybe John will do a similar drawing of Michelle Obama. That would bescarry, but at least we could print them, paste to blocks of wood and make bookends.

Terwiliger:

I'm waiting for the caricature of Obama with a pink stocking cap pulled halfway down his head with eye holes cut out.

The lower half of his face looks so much like Dumb Donald from Fat Albert it's uncanny...Or is it more of an omen?

If not John, who? If not now, when?
