Ok, I know I always ask and it's always all-painting effects, but:

Is the light effect photoshop?
The blue bands are just paint, not actual bands?

I like the underlying meanings of the two "photos" in their stuck-on-a-wall setting and I like the name. Pretty deep when you grasp the thought.

The halo effect is in the painting. Probably a bit more contrast than in the actual piece.

The bands are painted -corresponding shadows give it more of the tromp l'oeil thing.

As for the title, I was shooting for something catchy and could hint at a darker perspective.
